Portfolio
Selected work in instructional design, curriculum systems, and professional learning.
Each piece below represents a distinct design challenge, context, and audience.
Together they span K–12 and higher education, collaborative and individual design, planned systems and crisis response, print and digital.
IB Backward Mapping Framework
A federally funded curriculum framework mapping DP assessment demands across grades 9–12, co-designed for international use and adopted as the foundation for an official IB workshop model.
IB Skills Spiral Map K-5
A school-wide K–5 competency framework co-designed with every grade level team over a full academic year — built with teachers, not for them, so adoption was embedded in the process itself.
Compass Crisis Learning
Seven documents, three audiences, zero precedent — a complete instructional system designed and deployed within weeks of school closure due to COVID that produced stronger student growth than either previous year.
Designing for Transfer: Interactive Learning
A self-paced eLearning module on K-12 curriculum design built in Articulate Rise, demonstrating contemporary instructional design.
Competency-based Learning Design
Designed two structurally distinct competency-based learning systems from the ground up — one for an in-person charter school, one for a virtual academy serving students across multiple states — both fully implemented and producing measurable outcomes.
